I've been riding two wheeled motorcycles for over 40 years and always was interested in the Can-Am Spyder. In 2017, I purchased my first Spyder, an RT-S and put 50,000 miles on that trike before upgrading to my current Spyder, a 2021 Sea to Sky RT which now has 30,000 miles on it. In 2019, my wife Stacy and I, participated in the Can-Am On-Road Never Ending Road Trip which was the debut for the new Spyder RT design. It was an enjoyable experience riding the prototype RT for the photo and video shoot. I met my wife, Stacy, through the club and have been club President since 2019. We adopted a dog, Ryder in 2022, and he rides with us. I promote riding safely at all times and try to always be up to date on new models, maintenance, and accessories. I am a Marine Corps veteran, and currently work for Collins Aerospace. I look forward to riding with SRA Sacramento for many years to come and am really excited about where my Spyder is gonna take me!

I was born in Germany, immigrated when I was about 2 years old, and grew up in Philadelphia. I moved to California in 1982 and have lived in the Sacramento area most of the time since then. I have had motorcycles since 1984 starting with a Yamaha 650 which I rode for about 10 years. I then got the bike many of you got to know me on, the blue Kawasaki Concours. I currently ride either a Yamaha FJR or the "little" bike, my father in law's Honda 400 (which I restored in 2023}. I've been a SRA Sacramento member for several years and really enjoyed the group rides led by other road captains. Laurie and I became road captains in 2019. I enjoy planning the long, more technical rides for our group and try to lead an over-night ride every year or two. I also enjoy my model railroad and photography hobbies.

I have always wanted a Spyder ever since they first came out in 2008. I went and sat on one and was sad because I couldn't sit with my legs bent due to knee problems. When Can-Am came out with the F3 U-Fit I was so excited! I went straight to the dealership and bought my 2015 F3. I had never ridden any motorcycles before and my first ride was from the dealership to my home by way of the freeway. I was a little scared at first but riding the Spyder is very easy, comfortable, and fun. I joined SRA Sacramento and became part of a new wonderful family. I served as club Secretary for several years and am now the Treasurer. I have ridden over 80,000 miles on my 2015 F3 and my 2021 F3-T. I am excited to see where my next adventure takes me!

I grew up riding dirt bikes on the Northern California coast. I quit riding as a young adult when I went to college and started raising a family. It was 20 years before I got back on another bike. I rode motorcycles for 10+ years before having to give it up once again (this time due to vertigo). In 2020, my wife (Rachelle) and I rented a set of Rykers in Bend Oregon while on vacation. We absolutely loved them and realized how much we missed riding. Within just months we had two Spyder F3s. I bought a 2015 F3 Sport and doubled it's 12,000 miles in just one year. As of 4/12/24 and 4/22/24, we have two new to us 2022 Spyder RT Limiteds. Ryding Spyders and then joining this club has given us back a life we had really been missing. We look forward to many more adventures and travels with our new bikes and this club!

Hello I'm Susie Ballard-Braker. I rode 2 wheels since high school. In 2013 I gave up my Harley Sportster 1200. After a few years I was yearning to be back on a bike. But I had no one to ride with and felt like I didn't want to worry about having to pick up a bike. One day I saw a Spyder and thought that was so cool. I started looking for one. Then one day my daughter said I should join a group to learn some more about Spyders. So I did and that is how I joined Spyder Ryder of America - Sacramento Chapter. In fall of 2021, I ordered a 2022 F3T and waited and waited and waited. By July, still no bike and I was seeing the riding season slip away. On a hoot I stopped by Dixon Ride-On Powersports. There was a beautiful dark blue 2022 Sea-to-Sky! I bought her on the spot!! The great people in our group coached me on how to ride 3 wheels...lighten your death grip and put time in the seat. Last year I rode to Deadwood, SD with another lady from our group for the 3 Wheel Rally held there. It was a great experience and had a lot of fun. We plan to do it next year. I started out not having anyone to ride with and now have a bunch of great people to ride with and enjoy life. But most special of all, I met my husband Rob!! Who woulda thought??

Hello, my name is William Reed "AKA" Billy Reed. I own a white 2016 RT Limited that I purchased new in May of 2017. Soon after purchasing my Spyder I became a member of Spyder Ryder of America SRA club in 2017. Currently I'm in my seventh year as a member of the Sacramento Chapter of the SRA. I retired from the State of California Office of State Publishing in 2006. Besides enjoying riding my Spyder during the week and weekends I also love to cook BBQ on my grills and smoker. Since I owned my Spyder I've traveled through many small towns on country roads. It's breathtaking traveling on old highways and roads surrounded by rolling green hills and valleys along the rivers and streams. I'm glad I purchased my Spyder, I've been to places that I never knew existed.
